I thought that it was a painting when I first looked.
It would be an interesting place to paint but one would have to be pretty rugged. At this spot the wind always blows a gale. We pass this spot about 20 times a year and I always have to brace myself to get out of the car to take a picture. There might be a shot of it on the blog from last November where the lake is frozen solid but the wind blows so hard it has blown all the snow off the lake leaving a shiny sheet of ice. On that stop my teenage son opened the car door, felt the wind, and said it was too cold to get out!
