Getting Festive in City Hall Park – Red Deer. Alberta, Canada

City Hall Park in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada always provides a festive night-time show of lights over the Christmas season. This year daytime was made extra special with the addition of ice sculptures. We thoroughly enjoyed walking from sculpture to sculpture, and of course the children loved seeing the happy snowmen.

  1. Hi Deb,

Just want to say thank you for the cup sleeve you gave me; it was very thoughtful and I will certainly put it to good use as I’m a Starbucks tea drinker.

Wishing you and your family a safe and Merry Christmas and Cheers to 2014!

ps: I enjoy reading your blogs. šŸ™‚

  2. Sad news. We went this evening to show the rest of our family the ice sculptures and two of them had been completely destroyed. That would have taken some real premeditated effort as it was thick and solid ice. What malicious behavior. What a city we are living in at the moment. I keep trying to find good things to post about in Red Deer, but quite honestly it is getting harder and harder.
