    • The snow is getting depressing. We are actually shaking our heads as two weeks ago we were planting in our garden on Pender and here at home we are still digging out. We actually do a happy dance when we hit the BC rain…definitely better than snow.

    • Yes…joy. It is still snowing and hasn’t stopped all day. I guess the positive side is no mosquitoes and I can snowshoe tomorrow!

    • I noticed it was only +5 on Pender today. It is still snowing. My husband just had to get aggressive with the front door to open it, there are several inches on the ground. We’ve abandoned hot tubbing tonight as we don’t want to shovel our way to it. Flip flops in 6+ inches of snow don’t cut it.

  1. I see you guys got 29cm to our 9cm down here (instead of the 20cm forecast). I feel for you! Our local wild rabbits are starting to grow their brown summer coats so they had me fooled about more snow. All I can say is I’m glad I still have my winter tires on the car and it’s going to stay that way for another 4 weeks!

    • I will admit this morning I got up, looked outside, went back to bed and pulled the covers over my head. My coping technique.
